Our Story
J&K Body Essentials was born from a mother's love and concern for her children’s skin and her youngest daughter disability that changed her life forever. I’m Mia, the creator of J&K Body Essentials. The inspiration for this brand came to me one late night as I thought about my two daughters, Jai'a and Kari’. One of them suffers from mild eczema, and I wanted to create something natural to help soothe her skin. Kari’s condition may be unfamiliar to many, her strength, resilience, and joyful spirit speak volumes. Every day, she teaches us about courage, patience, and the power of unconditional love.

Raising awareness about rare disabilities is close to my heart— not just for her, but for all the incredible individuals and families navigating similar journeys. She may have a rare diagnosis, but her light, laughter, and limitless love are anything but rare. That’s when I decided to turn my ideas into a reality, creating a product line that’s safe, gentle, and effective for all skin types.
